KIGALI, April 25 (AFP) - Six people were seriously injured -- two of them had legs amputated -- when a bomb exploded Saturday in front of a newspaper counter at Kigali bus station, well-informed sources said.

Another source said around 20 were injured -- six of them seriously.

The bus station, in the centre of the Rwandan capital, runs services throughout the country, with several thousand passengers a day.

At least five people were killed and another 30 injured on March 19 when a bomb exploded in the bus station under a taxi.

In a separate incident, four passengers in a van -- among them a pregnant woman -- were seriousy hurt on March 31 when a mine exploded in Nyanza, central Rwanda.

Two other mines exploded March 12, leaving around ten injured -- three of them children.

No group has claimed responsibility for any of the explosions.
