Heard by Judge Choquet, Lieutenant Colonel Duval confirmed that on the evening of June 27, he informed Colonel Rosier by INMARSAT of his meeting with the hunted Tutsi in Bisesero. Rosier refused to allow him to return to Bisesero. Duval confirmed that he also faxed his report on this reconnaissance that same evening.
