Abstract
12:52 Michel Goya : "I did operations of this type. I did an operation in Rwanda in particular where we were supporting the Rwandan army from a distance, with artillery batteries, etc. And then we were not on the front line".
Comment
Michel Goya, a lieutenant of marine troops in Rwanda in 1992, claims that the French were providing fire support with 105mm mortars for the Rwandan army. His words are in direct contradiction to the official version who claims that the French military had only advising and training Rwandan troops. There is no longer any question here of saying: "the French were adjusting the guns, the Rwandans were pressing the trigger". No, the French took direct part in the fight.
