This accusation by Serge Farnel turned out to be false, it is the result of a manipulation. In 2022, the president of Ibuka warned the survivors of Bisesero against these allegations which can harm their testimonies on the refusal of the French soldiers to rescue them between June 27 and 30, 1994.
