- "It's the total failure of the international community, bravo". This short sentence from the Bosnian Prime Minister this evening sums up a topic that goes far beyond the framework of the former Yugoslavia. Thus in Rwanda the last UN soldiers will leave the country tomorrow morning [April 19]. And we could see one of these Belgian soldiers tear with his dagger the blue beret which symbolizes all the power of the International Organization.
- Everyone flees Rwanda, the country remains in fire and bloodshed. Western capitals continue to call on the belligerents for peace. A Belgian soldier tears his UN beret with a dagger saying: "It's because of the berets that we feel remorse!".
- The country, Rwanda, is abandoned. The humanitarian organizations on the spot continue to decline the balance sheets in thousands of victims. And the belligerents continue to refuse any call for a ceasefire.
