- Horror in Rwanda. Kigali airport taken over by the rebels after a terrible bombing and at least 50 dead. But above all there are these appalling massacres all over the country. We are talking about hundreds of thousands of victims.
- In Uganda, Lake Victoria was even declared a disaster, thousands of corpses washed up on the shores. The authorities have already collected 30,000.
- And then at all the borders of Rwanda, the refugee situation is extremely precarious.
- Benaco is one of the largest camps in the world. But the very violent fighting in recent days has also pushed them back to other borders, such as here in Burundi, a predominantly Tutsi camp. Security is very present to prevent the same madness from happening between ethnic groups.
