Le génocide à l'envers de Judi Rever

La journaliste canadienne Judi Rever a fait paraître la traduction française de son livre In Praise of Blood. The Crimes of the Rwandan Patriotic Front (2018), sous le titre Rwanda L'éloge du sang. Elle y détaille les crimes de guerre et les crimes contre l'humanité commis par le Front Patriotique Rwandais (FPR), crimes dont elle exagère l'ampleur. Elle va jusqu'à accuser le FPR d'avoir suscité et encouragé le génocide des Tutsis, auquel il aurait d'ailleurs contribué. Une thèse négationniste qui réécrit à l'envers l'histoire du génocide.

In his book "Rwanda Éloge du sang" recently published in French, Judi Rever achieves the feat, without directly denying the genocide of the Tutsi, distorting its history and reversing its responsibilities to the point that he no longer recognizable. His work falls within the definition of negationism given by historian Yves Ternon: "The negationist then constructs an apparent truth and, at the end of his demonstration, delivers a distorted image, an anamorphosis". It is not only a distorted image, but a reversed image of the genocide of the Tutsi that Judi Rever produces.
