L'ONU évacue les premiers civils de Kigali assiégé

Pour la première fois depuis le début de la guerre, les Bérets bleus ont obtenu que les deux parties laissent partir des civils rwandais de Kigali. Les premiers évacués, pour la plupart des Tutsis rescapés des massacres, étaient réfugiés depuis sept semaines à l'hôtel des Mille Collines. Récit.

For three days, UNAMIR peacekeepers evacuated nearly a thousand Rwandan civilians, literally taken hostage in the capital Kigali. Symbolic target of this high-risk operation: the Mille Collines hotel, in the heart of the districts held by the FAR.
