The meeting, on June 27, 1994, of a group of French soldiers from the special forces with Tutsi survivors in Bisesero is acknowledged in this document of July 1, 1994. It is therefore certain that the date of the fax sent on June 27 evening by Lieutenant-Colonel Duval, alias Diego, was falsified by his superiors to conceal the abandonment to the killers of 381 to 1,000 Tutsi survivors.
