Abstract
By retiring yesterday at noon to deliberate, the jury could follow three main options: those of the extremes, guilty of all or guilty of nothing, or that of nuances, offering a balanced verdict. By responding as they did, the twelve elected judges of the people finally dared to choose the shade.
