Abstract: In Kanombe, the Saint-Quentin battalion commander and the four non-commissioned officers who were staying with their families in the military camp were at their homes on the evening of April 6, 1994. They were the first to react to the fall of the presidential Falcon near the camp around 8:30 p.m.; the officer and two non-commissioned officers were on the scene at 8:45 p.m. and raised the alert on the French Embassy's security network.
Comment: Despite the assertions of this sheet from the Ministry of Defence, François Léotard, Minister of Defense in 1994, will claim before the deputies of the Information Mission that the French soldiers were unable to access the crash site. What did they do to make their minister hide it?
